Walk 5th October 2016 Juniper Bottom - High Ashurst - Mickleham

This walk was led by a member of the Mole Valley ramblers. The time taken reflects the numbers walking on the day (33). And in addition one member of the group injured himself and had to be recovered.

The walk follows a newly designated footpath,

which we joined from the Gallops at the top of White hill. Path section from TQ185540 to TQ181539. On this reopened footpath which follows the boundary fence for Cherkley Court you can see Heathrow airport and West London. A yew tree planted by Winston Churchill when he visited Lord Beaverbrook who originally owned Cherkley Court, can be found on this reopened footpath
